Hannah gained her BSc (Hons) Psychology degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in July 2018. Hannah’s interest in Psychology and knowledge began to develop whilst studying A-level Psychology at Rochdale Sixth Form where she successfully achieved a grade ‘A’. Hannah has experience with children of both high-school and primary-school ages as well as with adults who are parents of children with many complex needs. She supports these adults as part of her role as a Family Volunteer befriender.
Her role includes collecting data and conducting audits of projects to ensure all our interventions are measured for impact and effectiveness. Hannah also assists with the delivery and the co-ordination of therapeutic groups and training workshops to young people, parents and professionals. Under supervision Hannah will also contribute to the work of Specialist Clinical Psychologist by assisting with psychological assessments of children and families and assist in the formulation and delivery of therapeutic interventions.
I have a professional and personal interest and passion, for the work we do at Beyond Psychology. Professionally, I intend to develop my academic profile further by completing a MSc to allow me to gain sufficient knowledge and experience in clinical areas before applying for the Doctorate Clinical Psychology. On a personal note, I am a member of a family who has fostered children for 10 years, I understand the impact of early life trauma and how important it is for those who care for cared for children to receive compassionate and specialist support that Beyond Psychology offer.
